My Bucket List...

edfdsfs.JPG

This afternoon at the park picnicking with smiley.

So My Bucket List...

Really more like the list of things I keep saying over and over I want to do "soo bad."

I would say 2014 has been Very productive so far though.

Things I have checked off my list:

1. Merle Haggard Concert

Yes, mom and dad were in attendance. My dad raised me on some Mama Tried, Okie, Silver Wings, etc.. It would not have been right without him. Plus, including my sweet parents we were the youngest there. hehe.

Not to mention the guy behind us was not a day over 77 kept saying, "dis un my favorite y'all."

Plus it was at Harrah's so gambling happened.

2. Gamble at a Casino

Btw Jared won $76.00, but then I ask him to buy me a Merle tshirt. That brought the winning fund down a bit.

3. Dolly Parton Concert

Back at Harrah's. My parents sat this one out. And we were so rushed leaving to get up there I forgot my wallet, who does that? Well... wrong place to forget your wallet. You have to be 21 and at the time I was 28. Doesn't sound like a problem considering no one in front of us for 5 minutes got carded. (looking back I guess it was because they all had a similar shade of white hair) Oh but, did I. After begging them to let me inside.. I had strict orders as to what color carpet and what escalators I should/ shouldn't take in order not to be escorted out.

We made it none-the-less.

It was awesome.

Jared said the singing was great, but the crowd "wasn't really for him". It was a very different crowd than Mr. Haggard for sure. But, I'd go again in a heartbeat.

Dolly oh my word. She's awesome. She's 68. 68. And sung for almost 3 hours. She danced, talked, and laughed the entire time. It was great. She's so happy.

The bottom picture (mirror one) I know I know. BUT, I just needed proof for later in life that Dolly was the one event, in case there's not any other event, that I felt important enough to wear jorts and boots as a combo.

4. Compete in a CrossFit Competition

Yeah, about that. haha. My dad use to tell me when I got nervous before I pitched a softball game that I was "tough as ES." It always made me smile and laugh, but it always helped.

So I got a little nervous that first morning of the Greenville Games because I was very undecided whether or not to do the scaled or Rx'd divison. And after deciding to do the rx'd.. yes, a little nervous.

Two days and 5 workouts later- I survived. It was fun. I learned I need to get better at so much, but oddly that made me love CrossFit even more.

It also made me think. I know a lot of stuff does that to me.

I hope Joz (and any future kiddos we may have) does anything she wants to do in life.

Even if she's little nervous or anxious about it. I hope she does it.

I hope she works her tail off at whatever it is. And in the end even if it doesn't turn out exactly as she'd hope... I want her to be glad she didn't let the nervousness or fear stop her.

I never ever want her to be scared of anything that she wants to try... {phil. 4:13}

So there. There are a few biggies for me that I have checked off in 2014 so far.

To be continued on the things I want to check off....
