Getting in Teacher Shape

So school happened this week. I'm talking as soon as JN went to bed on most nights ... so DID I.

The first two weeks of school are the most draining weeks of the whole year. (CAN I GET AN AMEN, TEACHERS?!)

It is crazy.

It does not matter how much one has ran, how many burpees you've done over the summer, or how hot it was in your garage gym while your workout "your butt is draggin'" for approximately two good weeks.

AM I RIGHT or is this just me?

But, the good news is for us Pickens County peeps... 1 week down. So we are approximately 1 week away from being back in "teacher shape"

An then... a week from tomorrow is a holiday!!! I mean. Just living the dream.

So needless to say the blog posting took a major halt to the need for sleep this week.

This mini photo shoot happened due to the fact JN woke up in the best mode EVER earlier on the week. (before tiredness kicked in good) ;)

Did I mention Ms. Robin sends pics throughout the day!!! This was captioned "Sleeping Beauty". These text make my day!!

A lunch workout I happened to take the time to take a pic of this week. I think I laughed more than I did all week during the cartwheels. Just plain ol' fun skill work.

I was really excited not to have to scale the amount of muscle-ups in this wod though and strung two together!! That's always encouraging. :)

At some point this week this trail of toilet paper happened. I still can't believe Jared did that.

Then he sent her back to take the blame. Don't worry I'm on to his game.

Two baths this week were taken just like so. I can almost hear her giggling in this picture. Trust me at the time she thought it was tear jerking funny. hehe.

Triedness setting in. I gotta hand it to her... it would be hard keeping up with a company and a personal phone. She did happen to a;so bring her little tikes knife though... not sure why that was the car toy of choice or how I didn't notice it.

So I've decided now that we have a sunroof in the new-to-us vehicle... This is the song of choice at night with the sunroof open. I mean it was so good that a necessary extra lap around our subdivison was in order. Oh yeah, and I like to say riding topless to Jared because it makes him shake his head and semi embarrasses him at the same time.

Occasionallly, after bath time my child lets me hold her like a little baby. It's my favorite thing right now. It's almost believeable too... just if you couldn't see her long leg sticking out the side. hehe.
